Volunteer

The Curtis Granderson Foundation is committed to connecting fans and friends with youth-focused education, fitness and nutrition initiatives and opportunities to volunteer in Chicago and beyond. There are opportunities to volunteer during the annual Grand Giving campaign as well as at CBEA tournaments, camps and clinics on the campus of the University of Illinois, Chicago or with our CBEA community partners.

Grand Giving
Wherever you live, you can support hunger initiatives through your local food bank or pantry. In Chicago, we work with the Greater Chicago Food Depository and the Northern Illinois Food Bank. You can find your local food bank or pantry through Feeding America.

For local Chicagoans, you can find hyperlocal volunteer opportunities by searching for local food banks and pantries. We also suggest connecting with a non-profit organization like Chicago Cares, where they facilitate community engagement, build empathy and connect people to take action on critical issues like homelessness, hunger and food insecurity. Programming and volunteering opportunities are embedded in neighborhoods on the south, west and northwest sides of Chicago.

CBEA
If you enjoy baseball and softball at all levels, consider volunteering at one of our CBEA tournaments, camps or clinics at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Go to the CBEA website for more info.

Donate

A direct donation to the Curtis Granderson Foundation helps fund programs for youth development through education, physical fitness and nutrition. With little overhead, the Foundation directs 100% of the donations we receive directly to programs that benefit the community.
